Metro Moulded Parts, Inc.

Founded in 1918 as the Hutchinson Rubber Company in Hutchinson, Minnesota, Metro Moulded was one of the first rubber companies west of the Mississippi River.

During World War II, the Hutchinson Rubber Company used their knowledge and equipment to manufacture a number of difficult parts for the military. After the war Hutchinson Rubber moved to Minneapolis and specialized in custom-molding hard-to-make industrial parts.

Beginning in 1962, starting with the restoration of an L29 Cord, the business began to evolve into Metro Moulded Parts, Inc. the leader in the reproduction of weatherstrip and detailed rubber parts for classic cars.
